I am having some problems with variables in algebra...
1) 7x +119=7
2)-3x-12=-111

What don't you understand? Do you need help getting started or do you get an answer that is wrong, or what.
Here, I'll show you how to do the first one, and then you can try the second one.
7x+119=7
We want just variables and their coefficient on one side, and everything else on the other side, so we will subtract 119 from each side.
7x+119=7
-119 -119
7x=-112
Now we divide each side by the coefficient so the variable is the oly thing left on the left side.
7x=-112
7x/7=-112/7
x=-16
So the answer is x=-16
Now we can check.
7x+119=7
We substitute x for -16
7(-16)+119=7
-112+119=7
7=7
It works out.
