Anyone got one of these? I've scrounged the manual and their cruddy online help system.

I'm trying to enter an address like "1234 state route 123" instead of a normal street address. While typing it grays out letters as you go to indicate what street names are in the system.

It apparently does not recognize state route numbers as streets.

Surely there's a way to enter addresses like that, isn't there?

Anyone?. Bueller?

Try entering SR instead of spelling out State Route or Route 123

Scott's solution is most likely to work, but you could also try entering State Highway, or SH. I've had addresses come up as that before when on SRs.

No such luck.

Zip is 43324. After typing ST, it "identifies" 2 named streets. It will not accept "st" by itself and won't let me type "state" either.

I tried "R" and it immediately identifies 2 named streets. I cannot type "rt" or "route"

Many state routes have other names have you checked for that?

I just figured it out by going the intersection method and choosing a street that I know crosses it.

The correct entry in this case is "OH 368" for "state route 368".

Now why wouldn't they think of indicating this in the owner manual? Sheesh.

Ah, that makes sense... though I don't know how many people would think of it. Wonder wehat they do for county roads... Now, make sure you give yourself positive feedback for the correct answer, lol.

Drat it won't let me :p

You're right. While I may find that "OH 368" is "correct terminology", I don't know of anyone who uses it. We always call it "route" or "state route". Even on maps it shows at State Route or SR.
