I am almost four months pregnant. The father of the baby wants to give up all parental right as long as I agree that I will not come after him for child support. I am willing to do this as long as he agrees to stay out of the baby's life. If he tries to enter the baby's life at any time after the agreement is signed, I want to be able to go after child support and make it retroactive from the date of the child's birth. How do I go about doing this?

The father cannot sign over rights unless there is someone willing to adopt the child in his place. If that comes to be the case, and rights are signed away for adoption, the bio father has absolutely NO rights... that means he has no part of the child's life. Once the adopotion is complete you cannot go after the bio father for child support. It will now be the responsibility of the new adopted father.
