Hi, I've been trying to add a laptop to a wireless connection and it's driving me up the wall. First of all, I created the wireless network on the desktop using an AOL wireless router. This was fine. Then I bought a Netgear Wireless adapter, installed the adapter software from the cd on a laptop and this was OK too.
Then using the AOL easy install cd, selected " add a laptop to the wireless network " and I tried adding the laptop to the network. The lap top detected the network and the adapter and everything seemed OK and then just at the last point in the AOL set up wizard where the lap top was about to connect to my network, I got a message " acAuth.dll cannot be found " then the wizard threw up a load of generic blurb about checking the modem etc.

The adapter light is on.
The signal is 86%
The modem on the PC I set the network up on is OK.
It's a Dell Latitude CPXj
Windows 2000

I google'd " ac.Auth.dll " and got no luck.

Is this message something to do with the laptop, the wireless adapter or AOL ?

Thank you.
