I heard that when rent is due,there is a 5 day grace period to pay before you can be charged late fees.
My question is- Is the grace period 5 days including weekends or is it 5 working days excluding weekends and holidays.

There is no automatic grace period. If the lease says that rent is due on the first of the month, then that is the date it is due. Often a lease will provide that there will be a late charge if rent is not paid by the fifth of the month--in that case you are being given a 5-day grace period. But if the lease only says that late charges may be assessed if rent is not paid on time, without giving a specific number of days, then they may start charging the late fee on the second of the month. If you are given a specific grace period in your lease then it is regular days, not business days. It is business days only if the lease specifically says business days.

My landlord is charging me for new blinds for all the house. She had blinds that were over 10yrs old and now she replaced with new ones and deducted from my deposit. Is this something I shoulod have paid for?

No, you should not have to pay for new blinds unless you damaged them beyond normal wear & tear
