Help! I died my hair a permenent medium brown and it turned out black. I need it to fade by tomorrow and I am stuck in the house today. Do you know of any household items I can use to make it fade fast?

I once died my PERMED hair and the ends turned black (I am a natural redhead). A hair stylist told me to use Dawn dishwashing liquid. It helped a little, but not enough for my taste. In an effort not to REALLY screw up my hair, I went directly to the salon and had them re-color it.
I realize that's not much help, but you might try washing your hair with Dawn. It's supposed to help strip the color.
Good luck to you!

Sweetie, permanent hair color "gradually" fades each time you shampoo your hair. You can try using any dish detergent around the house to fade the color. Remember that it may take longer than a day for your hair color to fade since the color is dark. If don't like the color, you should consider going to a salon and have a corrective color done.
