What is the gas to oil mixture for a 30cc homelite trimmer?

Should be 40:1

I run my homelight trimlight with 30:1 if you can't see the exaust the mixture is too lean

I have an electric Homelite weedeater. This is the second one I've tried using in the past month. Both have quit running on me in mid-use. Why?
