Am 25 years old and had a baby when I was 17.. after that have had two abortions because I was studying and my husband was always abroad.. The last abortion was in 2005 and have had difficulties in getting pregnant since then..
Also I will like to state that am an heavy smoker but I don't do alcohol or any form of drug;just d smoking... So am wondering if its due to the somking or the abortions.before 2005 my smoking was mild but after then its been really heavy..
I will appreciate if someone can explain in details to me... :confused:

It could be any number of things. I would definitely consult your doctor, as you have had two abortions. These can leave scaring and other damage to your uterus/fallopian tubes. Getting pregnant is just like being pregnant... no two are ever the same. It can take healthy couples 12 months or more to get pregnant. If you are smoking that heavily it could be affecting getting pregnant. If you are trying to conceive you really need to cut back on the smoking. Quitting is best, but cutting back would be a great start. Get an appointment with your ob/gyn and have a look over. Better to have answers and know if the abortions caused any kind of damage. You should be seeing him/her once a year anyway! Good luck.
