My 2002 honda civic is in good condition has only 38,000 klm on it. But about a week ago
I am having problems with starting it I put the key in the ignition and have to hold it for a few seconds like 5 6 then it starts I know this is not normal.I took it to honda dealership and they said there is nothing wrong with it.They check the batterie and spark plugs all good so what is going on here it is driving me insane I don't know what to do.

If you are using standard (non-platinum) NGK spark plugs, change them every 38,400 km or 2 years, whichever comes first. I would also change the fuel filter. If the problem persists, check/replace the coil.

I bet new spark plugs will solve the problem.

Since you'll be taking your Civic to the dealership, you might want to get the brake fluid and automatic transmission fluid changed. These are often overlooked items that help you maintain "like-new" performance. Honda normally recommends changing these items every 24,000 miles or 24 months, whichever comes first.
