I am currently 15 years old about to turn 16 in September. About a little more than a month ago I noticed a very small bump on the outside of my vagina while cleaning myself in the bathrub. I didn't think anything serious about it because it was a small bump and I thought that maybe it could be an ingrown hair. However, its most likely about a centimeter away from my clitoris on the right side. After a few weeks it didn't go away, so I thought that maybe it was an ingrown hair I could try to get it out or something, after trying to mess with it, I noticed that it grew because of that. Its now a little bit bigger, more along the size a small ball-point needle. It looks as if it could be a pimple almost, I also noticed that it hurts if I try to pinch it or try to pop it. And after reading a thread "Vaginal Bumps" and after reading the replys, I have begun to worry. I have had sexual intercourse but the last time I had sexual intercourse was a little more than 7-months ago, this small "bump" is the same color as the color of the outer-skin of the vagina. I must say, I am clueless, curious and very scared. :(

I've noticed that you people will view a Thread but won't post a reply for whatever reason. I'm in the need of help and advice, will ANY of you help me?

Hoping that you're under your parents' insurance, ask to go see the dr. It could be nothing, or it could be a wart, which can spread. I don't mean to scare you because like I said, it could be nothing and will go away on its own, but to be safe, have your dr. check it out. Not having sex for 7 months doesn't matter because some diseases don't show any symptoms for months/years, and some don't show any at all. Your dr. will be the best one to answer and put your mind at ease. Don't wait, though. Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi I'm going though the same thing you are. And I'm 15 also. Ill turn 16 in August of 09'. I've had this before but it went away. And it just happens to come back. I'm still a virgin and I have never gone and seen a doctor. I'm scared to tell my mother because I don't want her to be worried. But I'm really scared and I don't know what to do. The last time it hurt for me to walk. And I'm in marching band so that didn't help. But I told my best friend and she had the same thing. She told me that the doctor had to pop it. And I haven't talked to her about it ever since. I would really love it if someone would help me. And don't worry butterflykisses89 your not alone. And if I get any info, you will be the first to ever know about it. <3 melanie.
