How can I find the domain of a logarithmic function...


you don't have to give me the answer but the problem is :

y=log(2X-12)

What set of numbers can't you take the log of?

Bear in mind that the log is the power that you must raise the base of the log to to get the number that the log is operating on.

So would it be x>6 because you can't find the log of anything that's 0 or negative ?
