My husband has just installed our new kitchen faucet. However, the kitchen sprayer keeps leaking terribly(a waterfall actually) where it hooks up to the faucet. The directions say to snap the quick connect spray hose assembly onto the threaded valve sprayer nipple and to pull down moderately to insure the connection has been made. He's done this numerous times, but when the water is turned back on it immediately begins to leak. It is a Delta faucet. Please help!

WOW sounds like you have a problem !Well I would believe that there might be something wrong with the clamps that go on there. Have you tried having a plumer come and check things out. What I would do is take the faucets and return them, get something new, if that doesn't work , leave the old one on there and have a plumer come to you and give you advice on the subject.

I believe there is an o-ring that is supposed to be on the nipple. If the o-ring is missing it will leak a lot. Check the diagram/parts view to see if you are missing an o-ring.
