You can't uninstall an OS.
Simply format the drive you don't want.

Why can't one uninstall an OS?
How do you format a drive?

Snowflake,
If you are asking these questions perhaps, and I mean no disrespect here, you should a computer repair person do the work for you.

If you are simply curious as to why why you can't uninstall an OS the answer would be that it's a recursive thing: the OS needs the OS to uninstall software i.e. if cannot uninstall itself.

What is recursive? Are you saying if there is no OS on a computer than programs can't work on that computer or be removed from that computer in the add/remove part of the computer.

You really need to learn how to use a dictionary.

An operating system is the go between for the software and the hardware. That's why programs written for MAC don't run under Windows and vice versa. The Add/Remove function of Windows is part of the operating system. Try standing on a piece of board and then try picking the board up while you are standing on it. You can't, can you? Same concept, an OS can't uninstall itself, since the uninstall routine is part of the OS. So its standing on the board preventing it from being picked up.
