What is the difference between a FAT32 and a NTFS hard drive? Advantages and disadvantages if any. I have 2 external hard drives - on each

FAT (File Allocation Table) is an older filing system based on the 8 bit DOS FAT.

NTFS (NT Filing system) was designed for the NT line of Windows. It much more stable with more capabilities then FAT.
