I cannot remember where I read this - it may have been in something like Glamour - but ProActiv is apparently just as effective as many drugstore acne treatments. So I don't think its worth the extra cost. The key really is finding a product that works for you then sticking with it. Changing products can irritate your skin and cause more problems. I have literally been using the same skincare routine since I was 11 (I'm now 28). I wash my face with Cetaphil in the AM in the evening I use Noxema and once a week I use St Ives Apricot Scrub. So find something that works and keep with it. Good luck!

Personally, proactiv didn't work for me, but I know it works for some. I'd say try as many treatments you can until you find something you like, but at a cheap price like walmart. That's where I get all my products. And once you find what's right for you, you'll be glad you didn't spend the extra money. There are SO many products out there, give them a chance. Like glindaofoz said, I also have the same skincare routine. I use st.ive's apricot scrub once a week, it works! And I use aveeno facewash in the morning and at night I use biore scrub to get rid of all the day's dirt and grime, and makeup. I always end with a toner and olay moisturizer. It took a while to find something that worked for me, so give it a try, you'll find something on walmart's shelves! (or target or walgreens or wherever)! :) keep us posted and good luck!
