Just got a canon s3. Every time we take a pic it is way out of focus! Any suggestions?

I think the S3 can be focused manually. If there is a control for this, check to see if it is set to the 'manual focus' setting.

We tried it in manual and auto. Manual worked OK for macro but any other shots are still blurry. Here's one of the pics my husband took...
