* Death due to accidental inhalation of DHMO, even in small quantities.
* Prolonged exposure to solid DHMO causes severe tissue damage.
* Excessive ingestion produces a number of unpleasant though not typically life-threatening side-effects.
* DHMO is a major component of acid rain.
* Gaseous DHMO can cause severe burns.
* Contributes to soil erosion.
* Leads to corrosion and oxidation of many metals.
* Contamination of electrical systems often causes short-circuits.
* Exposure decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes.
* Found in biopsies of pre-cancerous tumors and lesions.
* Given to vicious dogs involved in recent deadly attacks.
* Often associated with killer cyclones in the U.S. Midwest and elsewhere, and in hurricanes including deadly storms in Florida, New Orleans and other areas of the southeastern U.S.
* Thermal variations in DHMO are a suspected contributor to the El Nino weather effect.

We should find a way to control this substance! DHMO has some positive benefits but only if handled with care. Personally I have extensive training in this area and am currently using the frozen variation in a concoction that involves some form of alcohol.

Correct application of the frozen form should only be done with adult supervision. I'm on my way..

Oooooohhhhh.. I have unfortunately emptied the beaker. I will have to remake the misture whilst watching the finale to Hell's Kitchen

That's going to cost you a merit badge...

Even a teaspoon can kill an infant.

And, it contributes to global warming.

And I think I just saw someone put a little in the food on Hell's Kitchen.

I've just attempted drinking a whole glass of DHMO so far symptoms include excessive sweating and urination, should I seek medical attention ?

I went to the lab at work with this and floated it to the chemists there ;only the lab director got it right away.

Breaking!

I just contacted my local YMCA and they actually offer courses for children concerning DHMO safety. I urge every parent to sign up their child. Forward this to everyone in your contact list.

I love Penn & Teller:) . That was super funny.

A professor told me there was something similar on The Man Show (I think it was the man show). They set up a stand that said "End Women's Suffrage!" And tons of women were signing away. Little did they know, they were petitioning against there right to vote.

Here is a similar one done at a college YouTube - Ending Women's Suffrage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uPcthZL2RE)

That was the Man Show. I saw that episode and it was funny and scary at the same time. Only one female knew what they were doing, and she got really upset.. Too bad she didn't see the point behind the comedy.
