A week ago I experienced heavy vaginal bleeding after intercourse that lasted for only a night. This was the first time I ever experienced this and it startled me. I was fine the next day so I just put the sitatuon behind me and did not go to the dotors. Now I am starting to become concerned because my period was due Sunday and today is Monday and it still has not come. I have looked on the internet to answer my questions but don't seem to find the answers I am looking for. If this helps to know, I do get routine check ups with my obgyn and so far never had any type of problems. Please advise me what might be wrong. Thank you!:confused:

Had this happen to me. It turns out to be a hormonal imbalance having to do with elasticity down there. Had to massage hornmone cream in that area and no more problem. Contact gyn to get this taken care of

It could be many different things, from a fluke to hormones to pregnancy to irritation. But some women bleed at the beginning of a pregnancy.
