[F]The previous owner installed ceiling fans that actually plugged into the wall. I'm having an electrician come in and properly install wiring from the ceiling. While I'm at it, I'm going to upgrade the ceiling fans. They are in the three relatively small bedrooms that are right next to each other. My question is does it look better if all the ceiling fans are the same (like they are now) or should they just be similar, or can they be completely different? I'm thinking ahead to resale in about 4 years and I don't want to make a stupid mistake.

Different fans in different rooms not usually that noticeable, as you usuall don't see all at the same time. For Bedrooms, The Hunter "original"(has oil)very quiet, nice for the bedroom.

Actually the floorplan for the bedrooms is an 'L'... so from the hall way you can view all the bedrooms; and if I'm showing my house to someone, this is typically the way the bedrooms are viewed. So the selection of ceiling fans seems to matter.

3 the same, seem like answer, unless décor in each room doesn't allow.

Use All The Same In The Bedrooms But Maybe Something Different In The Master Bedroom

AmericanBaby, if you are thinking about resale and all the rooms can be seen from a certain angle while standing in the hallway, then you need to use the same fan. As stratmando suggested, the Hunter fan is an excellent one and considered a quality fan in the home decorating industry. Find a fan style that can mesh with a number of different decorating schemes. Don't purchase a style that will overwhelm a room. There are a number of tasteful styles out there. Go to your local Home Depot or Loews and take a look at their selection.
