I am at work and facebook has been blocked by the administrator. I did find an alternate way of accessing this - Facebook Rocks! (http://WWW.FACEBOOK.CO.ZA) - however that is been upgraded and not available. Any suggestions?

I don't no it says the same on my comeputer and its not blocked. I quess you csnt get on it no more or something

Wait until you get home and access Facebook from there. That's about your only option. :)

Do you want to get fired? Your company has the right to control what you use THEIR computers for. They CAN track your usage of the Net. If they catch you trying get around their controls they can and probably will terminate you. What could be so important about Facebook that it can't wait until you get home?

No one on this site will help you get around your company's controls. That would be unethical. Please don't ask for such help.

I actually found a way through a proxy server - brought me right to where I wanted to go -Facebook.com (blocked by administrator).

Good luck, it won't be long before your admin find out. I'm sure he'll get a report of what went through the firewall.

Yes, it appears they want their computers secure from some sites and employees working not playing on the computer.

So do it and you will lose this job. Learn how to control your computer usage and work at work.
