I have two networked Home edition computers. One with two drives is NTFS format, and the other with 3 drives in FAT 32 config. All the drives in FAT 32 format computer are accessible to the NTFS computer. All the drives in NTFS config are Access Denied for Program Files and Windows folder only. Other folders in the NTFS computer are accessible to the FAT 32 computer. I experimented by making one of the 3 Fat 32 drives into a NTFS config and then trying to access it from the NTFS computer. No joy. I though if the two files were the same config, NTFS to NTFS they would communicate with each other. In fact, I could not even get to the Program Files folder or the Windows Folder, the entire drive was denied.

Would the problem be resolved if all 3 FAT 32 were converted to the NTFS configuration?

Short and sweet to answer you question, YES.
FAT cannot read NTFS, but NTFS can read FAT.

Not to be annoying, but the real question is, will NTFS read NTFS. From what I did, as explained previously, I converted 1 of the 3 FAT to NTFS, and found I was Denied Access to this particular disk when I booted the NTFS computer and then tried to open the one disk in the network FAT computer having this one NTFS disk. Sorry if I am not explaining myself clearly and thanks for your immediate response.
