My cat is having kittens I think, and she has started spotting blood. I am getting very worried, and everyone has a different answer as to if she is okay. Some people say its normal others say I need to take her to vet. It is not a lot of blood just spotting. And I really don't have the money to take her to the vet if I don't have to. What should I do? Is the spotting a bad sign?

Your kitty will do all the work herself, all you have to do is leave her alone, she knows what to do. Spotting is part of her giving birth. Just give her a clean box softened with old towels or something similar. She will clean her babies off, you are not to touch them at all; she will coax them to her nipples and make sure they are eating. She will also make sure they eliminate and she will clean that up too.
