Just today I received a dental bill for services dating back to 2005. Can they bill me nearly 2 years later? This is the first time I was billed for these services for my daughter. The bill states that my insurance was also just billed. There is no insurance coverage for the work that was done and the bill is substantial. I have another dd that is handicapped and have been putting out large amounts of money for medical/dental not covered and really don't have it to pay this other bill. Thank you in advance for any insights/

Where do you live?

The SOL varies depending on your location.

I live in PA. Sorry, I didn't think to include the area.

If you knew that your insurance did not cover the services rendered, why didn't you make financial arrangements to pay? The dental office should not have waited this long to bill you and your insurance, but you knew that the work was done and should have inquired about the cost long before now. It depends on the statue of limitation law in your state if you can be responsible for this.

If she got the services she needs to pay
