I own a 1974 Dodge D100 pickup. My dad and I just put all new gaskets in the motor. We took it apart because a few pieces of an aftermarket air cleaner mounting stud kit fell down into the engine due to a high amount of rain we received a few weeks ago. But even though it is all back together now we can not get it to run correctly. We think that it may be a wiring problem. But we aren't 100% positive. Can anyone help us figure out the problem. Please and Thank You...

. Test all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimeter. Here's how:

. Test for spark.
. Test for fuel.
. Test compression.

Did you mark the distributor, so the timing is close to what it was before you worked on the engine?
