Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows how I can get rid of blue manic panic hair dye. I've had it for about a month now and I still want to keep it but due to the start of a professional course and also meeting my relatives, I need to remove it for a couple months and I need to get rid of it quick! I tried dish detergent but it only removed about a third of the colour and I also don't want to ruin my hair if I continue using that method... does anyone know another fast way to remove the blue? Thank you for any info you can give...

Manic Panic is a semi-permanent hair color. Semi permanent colors lasts for 6-12 shampoos, but it may leave a permanent tint on porous or light hair. Try using Prell, dandruff shampoos, or clarifying shampoos to help wash away the color. If these methods don't work, you will need to use a hair color remover to remove the color. Remember that hair color removers will make your hair brassy, therefore, you may have to re-color your hair in order for it look natural.
