I have a Sony dcr-hc45 camcorder which is the same as the dcr-hc37. My problem is connecting my camcorder to my computer. I have a computer with windows xp but I do not have a firewire connection only usb. Please what cable do I need to connect the two together?

If you lost your manual, the sony esupport site is the place to look.
Try this,
Sony eSupport - DCR-HC46 - Manuals / Specs / Warranty (http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-documents.pl?mdl=DCRHC46&LOC=3)
If it is not a model sold in the US, try the UK Sony site.
Good luck.

There are Tuners that allow different Audio/Video inputs, as well as a F fitting for Antenna(Air). Around $50-100. Very useful.
Does Camera have RCA fittings, S Video?
