I received a friend's email saying,
"I'm getting thousands and thousads of emails in my inbox. They come in waves. I've deleted at least 4000 of them today. Most are junk mails, but some are duplicates of mails I got as long far as last December. It's driving me nuts.
I've done a virus scan but there is nothing found. Now what can I do ?"

Please help !

Doesn't sound like a virus, just sounds like a spammer community got her email address. There's very little she can do except open a new e-mail account.

If you are getting mails from same set of e-mail id's, why don't report these mails as spam and put those id's in blocksender list.
