Hi, I have a GE WCSE6270 Washer. After the washer fills and agitates, it starts to make a gurgling, clicking noise and will not finish the cycle (i.e. drain and spin). I noticed that the drain hose in the back was a little leaky, and in trying to play with it, it made the washer drain and spin correctly. I have done a few loads since, and it gets stuck at the same place in the cycle, and the only way for me to get it to work, is to play with the hose. The hose doesn't look kinked, but I do notice that the seal is not good against the washer, and it still leaks somewhat. Can a leaky drain hose connection cause it to lose suction and thus stop it from draining and spinning? Thanks for any help, Robert.

This is a new one to me. A faulty lid switch will cause it to stop like you say. I'm wondering if you have a bad or loose wire on lid switch and the movement ot the hose causes the wire or connection to make contact. Maybe the same with the contacts in the timer. Check those items and see if the problem is there. Post back with results. I'm interested in the outcome of this. Good Luck
