Just popping in to help you preggos with your leg cramps!!
It's NOT a lack of potassium that tends to cause leg cramps in pregnancy, it's actually too much calcium!!
Cut back on your dairy and the cramps should subside.
Now, back to taking an online test. LOL

So, I wonder if the potassium balances the calcium- why are we always told to take in potassium? Hmm...

startover22
Aug 31, 2007, 12:09 PM
I always thought he was younger for some reason... Why don't I pay attention in class. He is so handsome. Maxy is our youngest and I went to a wedding in Seattle, Dustin cut his hair (with my permission) while I was gone... He cut all his golden locks, curly and blonde. Now when his hair is grown he has a golden halo it is the strangest thing I have ever seen. Hold on to them while they are small I say. He instantly turned into a big boy after the cut!
alkalineangel
Aug 31, 2007, 12:20 PM

I am afraid to say I may get an ear infection, so I will be ignoring that part until I can't ignore the pain any longer. It usually goes away so we will see.
I hope all the kids stay well for the first week of school.

Haha, I should have read between the lines... I sure hope it goes well for her and the baby, and Ben and Millie, oh, the kitty too! LOL
I am ignoring my earache, it has gotten better in the past couple days. I have a weird thing about going to the doctor for my ear, I have have a few mastoidectomies and it really wasn't done right, I am in a costant state of tenderness. Doctors are surprised to see the reconstruction in there and out, I have a huge ear hole instead of normal size. Yuck.

Keep us posted, Laura.
You know you're in our thoughts.
J--you're crazy, you know that? I love you to death, but you're insane with that schedule!
I've still got the last little bit of my cold... hopefully a nap this afternoon will get rid of the last of it!
Synn, you calling me insane? Well, you're right. That wasn't even HALF of the schedule. I didn't add Rae's away games she has to cheer at... Didn't add my test dates (two weeks apart and 25 chapters per test).
I just got my clinical schedule (days working in the hospital) and I thought I would need to check into the local mental health hospital.
Synnen
Sep 3, 2007, 07:53 AM
Well, "related" to me would HAVE to mean insane, especially since you're related by CHOICE!
But damn... you're going to kill yourself this semester. Try not to, okay? I would miss you too much!
startover22
Sep 3, 2007, 07:58 AM
Hey Synn, have you heard anythiing from the "agency"?
Supposedly this semester is a very easy semester. It's next semester I have to worry about. LOL
I have several clinical days in the hospital from 3-11, then an hour drive home. Heck, I'm rarely ever awake past 9, unless I am online with you sharing tunes, LOL.
startover22
Sep 3, 2007, 08:01 AM
J, is that 3 in the am or pm?
Synnen
Sep 3, 2007, 08:01 AM
Uh oh... no falling asleep at the hospital!
Haven't heard yet from the agency, actually, though I did hear that my references have been called.
Was going to use you, J_9, but I don't have your address :P I actually did list this board as volunteer work, though!
startover22
Sep 3, 2007, 08:04 AM
I didn't know you could do that Synn, what a great idea.
The schedule is 3pm-11pm Start.
Synn, you don't have my addy? I'll send it to you later on email.
Well, off for another nap. Got to get some rest as hubby invited 15 people over for a cook out today. I didn't know about this until 5:00 yesterday. Got to get some rest... gotta get some rest... zzzzzzzz
Synnen
Sep 3, 2007, 08:13 AM
Crazy lady! I hope your hubby is doing the work for this party!
Get some rest, I'm going to run off and get some housework done!
Love you all!

startover22
Sep 3, 2007, 07:52 PM
NOOOOO, just a wise crack about losing my mind, somewhere...
I lost my mind somewhere in the post about the 19 year old girl with genital warts who wants to bathe with her 7 year old step-brother!!
PUKE!!
startover22
Sep 3, 2007, 07:57 PM
What... ok, that is gross. She is asking why she can't or if she can? Either way I will check that out... Wow!
It just sickens me to the core to know that she even questioned whether it was okay.
startover22
Sep 3, 2007, 08:05 PM
Yes, I just read through... very bad... I hope it was a troll but I am with you, I think she really needed to know the answer.

alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 05:42 AM
Lol... lol I knew it was along those lines... that's Connor's fave show.
Nothing better than waking up in the morning sitting in front of the compy eating my blueberry muffin bites and reading about genital warts and incestual bathing habits...
curlybenswife

startover22

alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 07:22 AM
Fine, better after the long weekend. Trying to get a lot done in a few days though.
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 07:24 AM
I understand... I guess I should start packing huh? We should be out of here by the first, I am heading for two more weeks and be done with it. If I am going to then I am going to, I don't want to have boxes sitting around here.
What are you working on?
curlybenswife
Sep 4, 2007, 07:46 AM
Lovely nap I'm off to prep dinner xxxx
alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 07:50 AM
Connor's birthday party is on Saturday. I have been claning and scrubbing like no other. Doesn't help that I have two boys following behind me :)... and would be a lot nicer if the big one stopped inviting people like his parents and his brothers friedns to my home to slow me down. So he gets the full brunt of my hormones this week :P
Sounds like you will be more busy than me. I would be crazy by now with less than a month to go. I hate moving.
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 07:50 AM
It is so weird to hear you say pre dinner, it is only 7:49 and I am in the mood for coffee and creamer. LOL
What are you going to make tonight sweet? Anything pasta-ish? That is what I am in the mood for... Sketty last night, it was good but I want more! LOL
alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 07:53 AM
Yum spaghetti. I have a craving for something deep fried and covered in cheese... LOL. Horribly unhealthy I know.
MIL is bringing lasagna tomorrow. My husband was craving it, an I am (apparantly) no good at making it, so he called his momma and convinced her to bring some to him... I was so angry, I don't want people in my home right now... esp inlaws.
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 08:10 AM
You, I think I am getting the in-law vibe from you. I feel the same way. Although if they were to bring lasagna, it may just change everything!
Dustin does the thing where everyone is invited, but you only have what you need for a few guests... then we hurry to the store and then all he## breaks loose.
alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 08:18 AM
Its more hormones than anything, they are nice people and I can usually tolerate them, but not while Im trying to clean a house for 40 people. They called our house about 50 times this weekend, and Im just overly irritated right now... not to mention tomorrow is Connor's actual birthday, so he will be crazy. I really wanted to ask him to call her back and say no, but he will just get angry, and I don't want to deal with that either. :)
Im too obsessive compulsive to run to the store at last minute... lol
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 08:25 AM
Ya, I can see that in you. Plan plan plan! How about Dustin asking everyone to stay the night cause he just doesn't want the fun to stop. LOL ohhhh, he is going to get it, just by me thinking about it makes me mad! LOL You will be done with this soon. Enjoy the party and everything that comes along with it!
alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 08:29 AM
I think your hubby is my hubby's twin... lol... I am always on him about asking me before asking people over... lol. Men.
curlybenswife
Sep 4, 2007, 08:30 AM
There dinners in the oven just need to finish the dishes and I'm ready to rock and roll, Al I have been craving spaghetti too lol we had it Saturday and I saved sauce so I could have more yesterday lol
alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 08:44 AM
Yum. I want spaghetti shop spaghetti with their special garlic bread... mmmm.
curlybenswife
Sep 4, 2007, 09:01 AM
Yummmmmmm I just crave my tomatoe sauce its just so lovely and it has to be long spahetti not shaped pasta lol
alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 09:24 AM
Im not a big fan of shaped pasta either..
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 09:28 AM

alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 09:46 AM

curlybenswife

startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 10:08 AM
Caserole? Oh you really know how to get to me don't you...
I like tuna samiches and soup to but caserole, sheesh, I am craving it now.
alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 10:14 AM
Mmm dumplings.
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 10:15 AM
That's what I'm talking about... why do we always go back to food? LOL
curlybenswife
Sep 4, 2007, 10:17 AM
LOL is rather good I have to say :D even millies tucking in
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 10:22 AM
Nice CBW... we all enjoyed being together last night... the kids swimming, eating sketty (not at the same time mind you) but it sure was nice!
curlybenswife
Sep 4, 2007, 10:27 AM
That to me is the main part of being a family all sitting down and eating together.
alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 10:28 AM
I thin spaghetti and swimming sounds so interesting. Isn't that in Patch Adams... a whole pool of spaghetti.. lol.
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 10:29 AM
My favorite, we do it often, BUT since football is on now, Dustin will be excluded and miss out. Not mad at all, he will just miss some things that I won't... He he Like the big belches and farts... Oh wait that is usually him. I crack myself up.
alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 10:29 AM
That to me is the main part of being a family all sitting down and eating together.
Me too, me too... its the one thing I am steadfast about.
curlybenswife
Sep 4, 2007, 10:35 AM
me too, me too...its the one thing I am steadfast about.
It's just something that I feel is really important it's a great time for the children to have a influence of both parents and be able to all talk together.
alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 10:37 AM
We are all so busy, it's a good time to slow down and really see each other. Connor loves setting the table and we each have our seats.
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 10:38 AM
So many good things happen around the table. That is for sure!
curlybenswife
Sep 4, 2007, 10:40 AM
Its actually a big part of jo frosts routine for family life it creates structure and gives the child a time to talk and learn from there parents with no other interuptions like the TV.
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 10:44 AM
Yes, I know, now it will be football in the back ground... no way ever getting around that. Making it together is part of Dustins deal, he gets his time and then we eat. MMMMMM good!
curlybenswife
Sep 4, 2007, 10:46 AM
That's where I would put my foot down eating doesn't take that long, thank goodness ben does do sport of any kind or there would be ruptions here lol
alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 10:49 AM
Yes, I'm thankful of that too. Thomas has never been into sports, unless UK vs UL or something, and even then not during dinner... we have DVR. LOL
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 10:54 AM
Football is on at dinner time. It is his one love that I refuse to take away. He does so much for me and the kids, if this is the one thing he wants, then so be it! It isn't about putting your foot down, it is about giving that to him... it isn't EVERY night. Thank goodness. LOL
curlybenswife
Sep 4, 2007, 11:01 AM
Well no one is saying we don't give and take but it's a rule I stick by its how I was brought up and its how my kids will be brought up for the sake of half an hour out of our lives spending it with the people you live for and only them is pretty special in my book.
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 11:03 AM
I agree. We do it a lot. I am not too worried about 2 or 3 nights. And most of the time he is right there with us, just over the "counter' so to speak... Good for you sweet, keep it up!
alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 11:04 AM
My sister does the same as you, Start, Its nice we all have such different family traditions... you seem to take vacations a lot, I wish we did that more.
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 11:07 AM
We just go camping, the vacation comes every August. Camping is our thing, we all love it so it really is perfect! Go Hawks, I had to say that for Dustin... I know it would please him!
alkalineangel
Sep 4, 2007, 11:20 AM
We don't ever go anywhere... maybe the lake on occasion, its just too much of an expense I guess... but I'm starting to think we work to hard not to, Im hoping to hit disney this time next year, Have Connor wake up there for his birthday...
startover22
Sep 4, 2007, 11:31 AM
