I have been doing a bit of reading on various sites across the internet but still am not sure what to make of my situation. I have only been pregnant once before, and ended up having to abort. Now I am just plain confused. I had unprotected sex twice (full rounds...actual count of orgasms resulting in male ejaculation...about 4.) in the past week or so. If I have my dates right, it should be about 9 days since the first "session." I have been experiencing slight naseau when confronted with certain foods, but I don't want to make that seem like more of a big deal that it really is. Especially since I have tested three times in the past week but still have yet to see a positive result. My period just started today as well, though it doesn't seem to be causing the usual cramping this time around. Just wondering, though, is it still possible for me to be pregnant because I haven't given my body ample enough time to produce a detectable level of hCG before testing? Or am I really just being a wishful thinker?

Some women can have one more period before conceiving and implantation. It doesn't happen a lot, but it does happen. Since you did get a period this time around, you really can't tell if you are pregnant until the next period comes, and is delayed.

If your next period is delayed, wait about 14 days and take an HPT, using your first morning urine. 14 days will allow the hCG levels in your body to build up enough to detect pregnancy, if you are pregnant. If you still get a negative reading, request a blood test from your doctor. If that comes out negative as well, then you are probably not pregnant. :)
