Ok I am way confused, I have just found out I am pregnant with my first child. The first day of my last period was on 18th June 2007. So I would have been due back on the 15th July which never came. Went to the doctors who said I am in the 4th week of pregnancy and conceived about the 16th July.

I have been looking online and seen lots of things saying if pregnant you would count the weeks from the frist day of your last period. Well then wouldn't that make me in my 6th week? I'm soooooooooooo confused . Can anyone help??

People can give you estimations until they are blue in the face. The only accurate way to detect a due date, and how far along you are, is getting your ultrasound (which happens around 20 weeks.)

I always tell people, the dates your doctor gives you in the very beginning are not always set in stone :)

Yeah true, The Doctor did a mini scan on my belly to confrim I was pregnant and he said I was 4 weeks (5 on monday) just wondered how he worked that out when my last period was in June.

I am confused too... my last period was 13th June and according to doctors I am 7 weeks :) sorry that probably confused you more. Going by yours (and my LMP) I would say you are 6 weeks...

Its doing gmy head in a bit as id like to know when I conceived, he said the 16th July! He did a mini scan and said I was 4 weeks judging by thee size (1 cm).

You will know for sure at your 20 week ultrasound. They will tell you how far along you are. And you can ask them what your approximate date of conception was, and if the ultrasound tech won't tell you, your doctor will at the ultrasound follow up :)
