I was at a ski resort, and heard a song that was really good, in my opinion, that had the hook "I'm Alive" in it. The song had a sort of creppy-funk vibe. Sorry I can't give more info, but it's been awhile since I heard it, and it's driving me crazy. Thx in advance for any help.

The only song I am familiar with matching that title is "I'm Alive" by the Circle Jerks. It a mid to late 80's era punk song. They were a favorite band of mine during my late teens, early twenties. Incidentally, a male singer as well. Wouldn't necessary consider it to have much of a funk vibe or influence, though the bass playing in particular dominates much of their work.

Here's a list (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&token=ADFEAEE5781BDA49AF7320D79A3E4AC7BB7DA35B8610 DA971F28455A92B63E45911E7EE052FB8693FDFB6AB67BB0FD 2EA45C43D6C0EA56F6DD622D4CF0&sql=17:712276) of artists that perform a song called "I'm Alive"

I think, I have that Song but I don't know the true name or artist to it either. Does the woman voice sing "meow." And then the man comes in saying, "I'm alive...maybe I'm in heaven, but I don't believe a word, no I don't believe a word." For some reason the song I have from Limewire is labeled, Perfume by Damien Rice, but I'm pretty positive it is nowhere near Damien Rice.

I think MrV121 is right, but just in case...

Maybe "All Around Me" by Flyleaf?

if it's a girl singing it it could be Flyleaf's "Fully Alive"... maybe but if there's a guy singing it it could be P.O.D.'s "So Alive" <=that one has a cool beat to it

Okay, so I see that you made this post years ago, and I have no idea if you'll ever see this, but believe me when I say that I have had songs drive me CRAZY for years not knowing what the title and/or artist was. I have no idea if you ever found the answer, but I looked at all the responses here and I know none of them are the song you're looking for (Love and Rockets is close, in terms of band era, but no cigar).

The song is "Perfume", a hypnotic little trip-hop number by The Jesus and Mary Chain off the album 'Munki'

Well, I'm crossing my fingers that maybe I helped!

Maybe the song by Kenny Chesney and Dave Matthews called "I'm Alive"?

JESUS AND MARY CHAIN "PERFUME" Lyrics (http://www.mp3lyrics.org/j/jesus-and-mary-chain/perfume/)

Could you possibly STILL be looking for this... I was going searching for this song that was mislabeled in my Damien Rice songs. I found this and then the answer... I'm almost positive you heard the same song as me...
