Help! The hot and cold water coming out of the kitchen sink faucet are never really "hot" and "cold"... always lukewarm-ish. I've tried messing with the valves underneath the sink, but I don't know if they are both supposed to be open all the way or if one should be open and the other closed... I'm lost as u can see. Please advise. Thank you so much!

The valves under the sink should be all the way opened, but not jammed open.

But what region do you live? I live in Florida and the cold water never really gets cold (I used to live in New Hampshire - BRRR)

As far as the hot water, you may want someone to check the water heater's element. I've heard they can corrode(?) and efficiency goes way down, then they fail completely...

Good luck!

Stick a meat thermometer under the hot water in each of your sinks. THey all the same?
