I am under 21 and just got a drinking citation in Wisconsin. It's my first ticket of any sort ever. And there was no car involved with the citation.
I am going to court in like two weeks and know I have to pay a fine, but wanted to know what else can happen to me in court.
I do not live in Wisconsin and have a Virginia license and i heard that they can not take it way because it's a Wi state court. IS this true?
:o any info would help!

Is this a driving (DUI) or merely a minor in possession or minor drinking ticket?

There is a big difference, In the case of a DUI, have an attorney it can make a big difference

For a minor in possession, many can be dismissed or suspended pending some community service

It was not a DUI because we were not in a car. He just called it a drinking citation.. I think that would just be a minior drinking ticket.

And how can I get them suspended with community service? I am not going to have an attorney unless I will pay for it.. and I DO not have the money to pay for that and the ticket. I think I am going alone
