I just recently started have some discomfort and swelling in my vagina. Today I noticed that I have some white chunky discharge. What is it and should I go see my doctor?

Sounds like a yeast infection. Yes, you need to see your doctor.

I've had a yeast infection before and I don't have insurance so I was wondering if i could just pick up something and the drug store for my yeast infection with out seeing a doctor.

First let me start with the PMs. It is not advisable to ask and answer questions via PM. Other people may have the same question and learn from you, or you may get slightly differing answers here on the board.

You need to make sure that it is in fact a yeast infection. It could be something different. We don't have the luxury of actually being able to do a proper diagnosis over the internet without an exam. So, a doctor or clinic it your best option. We are only giving opinions based on experience here.

With that said you can pick up some Monistat at the pharmacy, but it will not help if this is something different than a yeast infection.
