Hi! I have a full sleeper sofa that is @ 18 months old. It had to have the sleeper mechanism replaced after several months because it was defective. Since having the second sleeper installed, it seems to squeak every time someone sits on the sofa. I had a repairman come out about 2 months ago and he corrected some problems with the wood frame, however, it still squeaks. The funny thing is that I have a queen sleeper that is the same make, fabric, everything (even a little older) and I have not had any problem with it.
Does anyone have any ideas on what to try to help alleviate the squeaking?
Thanks,
Dorothy

First try to determine if the sound is from metal or wood. With help from another person try to focus in on it's location (use a short piece of rubber hose held to your ear.) Try placing a small book under one of the legs and see if it still squeeks. Buy a can of silicone spray lubricant and lightly spray a suspected area. Continue with the silicone till noise is gone. Good luck.
