I am on F-1 status and currently doing my Co-OP it has only been 2 months since I have been working. I came in US in July-2006 my school is in virginia and currently working in California.

Last year I got my full refund for taxes.

My current employer does a 1099 instead of W-2 for tax purposes, so I don't pay any taxes upfront. Is there anything I have to keep in mind while filing taxes for next year.

You will owe INCOME taxes, but you should not owe seld-employment taxes due to your F-1 status.
