I'm a little wound up today. Sort of.
I'm really tired... we went out for dinner last night, and it was sloooooow service.
Technically, it was our nice dinner for our anniversary. Mmm... italian! But we got home late, and I'm dragging this morning--2 late nights in a row!
Saw a serviceman propose to his girl there, though... she was soooo embarrassed! It was cute!
J_9
Jul 26, 2007, 09:35 AM
Did you get any ornaments Synn?
Synnen
Jul 26, 2007, 09:39 AM
Just 2... the next one in the Flower Fairies, and the next in the Mischievous Kittens.
Been pretty disappointed in Hallmark the last couple of years. Most of their ornaments are now really cheap plastic CRAP, and they keep buying into the whole popular market thing. I'm so tired of seeing ornaments from whatever the popular movie is that summer!
I've taken to buying a lot of my "yearlies" elsewhere. We get ornaments to fill in collections for nieces and nephews, and an ornament to mark each Christmas we've spent together. Last year I was desperate enough to go to one of those places where they PAINT on the year for you! The "Our Christmas together" ornaments this year are so horrible! And the only REALLY good ornament they released this year, in my opinion anyway, was a limited release of a fairy.
I'm probaby going to write them this year, and then once I've finished the series that I'm on, never start another with them.

Jul 26, 2007, 07:22 PM
We absolutely do NOT mean to make it that way.
We're just all talking at once... please! Just speak up!
I post from work during the day, so my posts are generally pretty sporadic. I NEVER mean to exclude ANYONE who posts here! I'm just sometimes posting on the fly and miss things
Canada_Sweety
Jul 26, 2007, 07:24 PM
Awwe, I know... it's not anyone specific, it's basically that like everyone already knows each other and I'm just there:p
Synnen
Jul 26, 2007, 07:41 PM
Well, I know how you feel. I was new once too!
We're just talking, seriously. When we get talking about music, or PMS, or chocolate, or whatever... just speak up with what you've got to say! I promise I will work harder to make people feel more included. It's just been a very busy couple of weeks at work for me, and I've been kind of self-centered. I'm sorry you felt left out at all :(

Jul 27, 2007, 07:34 AM
Pretty good. May need outpatient surgery, but the doc is a friend of mine (whew) and it can be done outpatient on a Saturday if need be. He and his wife (a nurse practitioner) have offered to watch Johnny while I am at school if necessary. They are really good friends of mine, so that was a big load off my shoulders.
Synnen
Jul 27, 2007, 07:36 AM
Oh, that's awesome!
Great to hear!
J_9
Jul 27, 2007, 07:44 AM
Yeah, it is pretty great. Bob and Wanda are really good people. Johnny loves to visit them anyway (they are like grandparents to him) so, if we have to go that route we do. Bob thinks it will shrink on it's own though, so we just have to wait and see if it happens again.
startover22
Jul 27, 2007, 07:48 AM
J, gald to hear it will work out. Poor Johnny.
You ladies were busy this morning. Hope all your days go well. Nice to see the "boys" back for a few...

GRRRRRR
startover22
Jul 27, 2007, 07:53 AM
Ya, like Havoc helicopter... I am so mad I could die, they keep sending us helicoptors and we only ordered the first ones we got and I can't seem to talk to anyone about it... They are like 70.00 for both and have been charged to Dustins credit cards... GRRRRRRRRR where do you think I should go from here? They are sure lucky they aren't in walking distance... (dustin would beat them up)
J_9
Jul 27, 2007, 07:53 AM
Oh, I hate that too Synn. It drives me nuts that we can hardly ever get personal assistance anymore. People are too busy to deal with other people so we get machines. I hate calling my phone company as it is all automated now. Grrrr, drives me insane!!
alkalineangel
Jul 27, 2007, 07:57 AM
J - good news for you... im glad it will work out well. Thanks for the assistance by the way, had to spread the love, but the info was great.

startover22
Jul 27, 2007, 08:34 AM
Public humiliation? I think you would be a star in my "public" eye just for signing up. How about being proud of yourself sweet... That takes courage and discipline to do and the "public" knows that. We are just jealous!
alkalineangel
Jul 27, 2007, 08:39 AM
I could never do it personally... and that makes the fact that you can, very cool in my book.

Funny CBW, Rae was born on November 5
In Alaska we have what is called Break-Up babies. Break-up is when all the snow melts and no one can go anywhere. So what else is there to do? There were 10 babies born when Rae was and it was a small 23 room hospital.

That's cool... they must save a fortune on birthday parties. haha
Why didn't you want kids around Christmas time?
J_9
Jul 27, 2007, 05:49 PM
Christmas is too expensive to have children. You got parties, birthday, christmas. Also, the child does not really get to recognize their own special day since it is too close to the major holidays.
Synnen
Jul 27, 2007, 05:55 PM
I never had a birthday party in my life.
Half of my presents were Christmas AND birthday presents. And I only got presents one time a year. And amazingly... people FORGET your birthdays, because they're caught up in the holidays.
Plus... everyone gets presents on MY birthday, but I don't get presents on anyone ELSE"S birthday!

With a mind to rhyme and two hyped feet
Feels good when you know you're down
A superdope homeboy from the Oaktown
And I'm known
As such
And this is a beat uh you can't touch
I told you homeboy, can't touch this
Yeah, that's how we livin' and you know,
Can't touch this
Look in my eyes man, can't touch this
Yo let me bust the funky lyrics, you can't touch this
Fresh new kicks and pants
You got it like that now you know want to dance
So move out of your seat
And get a fly girl and catch this beat
While it's rollin' hold on
Pump a little bit and let them know it's going on
Like that, like that
Cold on a mission so fall on back
Let 'em know that you're too much
And this is a beat uh they can't touch
Yo I told you, can't touch this
Why you standing there man, can't touch this
Yo sound the bell school is in sucker
, can't touch this
Give me a song or rhythm
Making no sweat that's what I'm giving 'em
So now they know
You talk about the Hammer when you're talking 'bout a show
That's hyped and tight
Singers are sweatin' so pass them a wipe
Or a tape to learn
What it's going to take in the 90's to burn
The charts legit
Either work hard or you might as well quit
That's word because you know
Can't touch this
Can't touch this
Break it down!
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Stop! Hammer time!
Go with the flow it is said
If you can't move to this then you probably are dead
So wave your hands in the air
Bust a few moves run your fingers through your hair
This is it for a winner
Dance to this and you're going to get thinner
Now move slide your rump
Just for a minute let's all do the bump
Bump bump bump yeah, you can't touch this
Look man, can't touch this
You'll probably get hyped boy 'cause you know you can't,can't touch this
Ring the bell school's back in, break it down!
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Stop! Hammer time!
Can't touch this
Can't touch this
Can't touch this
Break it down!
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Stop! Hammer time!
Every time you see me, that Hammer's just so hype
I'm dope on the floor and I'm magic on the mic
Now why would I ever stop doing this
With others makin' records that just don't hit
I toured around the world from London to The Bay
It's Hammer go Hammer MC Hammer Yo Hammer and the rest can go and play
Can't touch this
Can't touch this
Can't touch this
Yea, Can't touch this
I told you, can't touch this
Too hype can't touch this
Get me out of here, you can't touch this

Yo VIP let's kick it
Ice ice baby (x2)
All right stop collaborate and listen
Ice is back with my brand new invention
Something grabs a hold of me tightly
Flow like a harpoon daily and nightly
Will it ever stop yo I don't know
Turn off the lights and I'll glow
To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal
Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle
Dance go rush to the speaker that booms
I'm killing your brain like a poisonous mushroom
Deadly when I play a dope melody
Anything less than the best is a felony
Love it or leave it you better gain weight
You better hit bull's eye the kid don't play
If there was a problem yo I'll solve it
Check out the hook while my DJ revolves it
CHORUS
Ice ice baby vanillla (x4)
Now that the party is jumping
With the bass kicked in and the vegas are pumpin'
Quick to the point to the point no faking
I'm cooking MC's like a pound of bacon
Burning them if you ain't quick and nimble
I go crazy when I hear a cymbal
And a hi-hat with a souped up tempo
I'm on a roll and it's time to go solo
Rollin' in my 5.0
With my rag-top down so my hair can blow
The girlies on standby waving just to say hi
Did you stop no I just drove by
Kept on pursuing to the next stop
I busted a left and I'm heading to the next block
The block was dead
Yo so I continued to A1A Beachfront Avenue
Girls were hot wearing less than bikinis
Rockman lovers driving Lamborghinis
Jealous 'cause I'm out getting mine
Shay with a gauge and Vanilla with a nine
Reading for the chumps on the wall
The chumps acting ill because they're so full of eight balls
Gunshots rang out like a bell
I grabbed my nine all I heard were shells
Falling on the concrete real fast
Jumped in my car slammed on the gas
Bumpet to bumper the avenue's packed
I'm trying to get away before the jackers jack
Police on the scene you know what I mean
They passed me up confronted all the dope fiends
If there was a problem yo I'll solve it
Check out the hook while my DJ revolves it
REPEAT CHORUS
Take heed 'cause I'm a lyrical poet
Miami's on the scene just in case you didn't know it
My town that created all the bass sound
Enough to shake and kick holes in the ground
'Cause my style's like a chemical spill
Feasible rhymes that you can vision and feel
Conducted and formed
This is a hell of a concept
We make it hype and you want to step with this
Shay plays on the fade slice like a ninja
Cut like a razor blade so fast other DJs say damn
If my rhyme was a drug I'd sell it by the gram
Keep my composure when it's time to get loose
Magnetized by the mic while I kick my juice
If there was a problem yo I'll solve it
Check out the hook while Shay revolves it
Ice ice baby vanilla
Ice ice baby (oh-oh) vanilla
Ice ice baby vanilla
Ice ice baby vanilla ice
Yo man let's get out of here
Word to your mother
Ice ice baby too cold
Ice ice baby too cold too cold (x2)
Ice ice baby

You'll Shut Me Down With A Push Of Your Button

"Cause What You See You Might Not Get

See them walking hand in hand
Across the bridge at midnight
Heads turning as the lights flashing out
Are so bright
And walk right out to the four line track
There's a camera rolling on her back
On her back
And I sense the rhythms humming in a frenzy
All the way down her spine
Girls on Film
Girls on Film
Girls on Film
Girls on Film
Lipstick cherry all over the lens as she's falling
In miles of sharp blue water coming in
Where she lies
The diving man's coming up for air
'Cause the crowd all love pulling Dolly by the hair
By the hair
And she wonders how she ever got here
As she goes under again
Girls on Film (Two minutes later)
Girls on Film
Girls on Film (Got your picture)
Girls on Film
Wider, baby, smiling and you've just made a million
Fuses pumping live heat twisting out on a wire
Take one last glimpse into the night
I'm touching close
I'm holding bright, holding tight
Give me shudders with a whisper,
Take me high 'til I'm shooting a star
Girls on Film (she's more than a lady)
Girls on Film
Girls on Film (see you together)
Girls on Film
Girls on Film (see you later)
Girls on Film
Girls on Film (two minutes later)

G:
It was a clear black night, a clear white moon
Warren G was on the streets, trying to consume
Some skirts for the eve, so I can get some funk
Just rolling in my ride, chillin all alone
Nate:
Just hit the Eastside of the LBC
On a mission trying to find Mr. Warren G.
Seen a car full of girls ain't no need to tweak
All you skirts know what's up with 213
G:
So I hooks a left on the 21 and Lewis
Some brothas shooting dice so I said "Let's do this"
I jumped out the ride, and said "What's up?"
Some brothas pulled some gats so I said "I'm stuck."
Nate:
Since these girls peepin me I'ma glide and swerve
These hookers looking so hard they straight hit the curb
Won'tcha think of better things than some horny tricks
I see my homey had some suckas all in his mix
G:
I'm getting jacked, I'm breaking myself
I can't believe they taking Warren's wealth
They took my rings, they took my rolex
I looked at the brotha said "Damn, what's next?"
Nate:
They got my homey hemmed up and they all around
Ain't none of them seeing if they going straight pound for pound
They want to come up real quick before they start to clown
I best pull out my strap and lay them busters down
G:
They got guns to my head
I think I'm going down
I can't believe this happening in my own town
If I had wings I would fly
Let me contemplate
I glanced in the cut and I see my homey Nate
Nate:
Sixteen in the clip and one in the hole
Nate Dogg is about to make some bodies turn cold
Now they dropping and yellin
It's a tad bit late
Nate Dogg and Warren G had to regulate
I laid all them busters down
I let my gat explode
Now I'm switching my mind back into freak mode
If you want skirts sit back and observe
I just left a gang of those over there on the curb
G:
Now Nate got the freaks
And that's a known fact
Before I got jacked I was on the same track
Back up back up cause it's on
N A T E and me
The Warren to the G
Nate:
Just like I thought
They were in the same spot
In need of some desperate help
The Nate Dogg and the G-child
Were in need of something else
One of them dames was sexy as hell
I said "ooo I like your size."
She said "my car's broke down and you seem real nice,
would ya let me ride?"
I got a car full of girls and it's going real swell
The next stop is the Eastside Motel
G:
I'm tweaking
Into a whole new era
G-Funk
Step to this
I dare you
Funk
On a whole new level
Nate:
The rhythm is the bass and the bass is the treble
G:
Chords
Strings
We brings
Melody
G-Funk
Where rhythm is life
And life is rhythm
Nate:
If you know I´ll got know
You don't want to step to this
It's the G-Funk era
Funked out with a gangsta twist
If you smoke like I smoke
Then you high like everyday
And if your is a buster
213 will regulate

On the banks of the river where the willows hang down
And the wild birds all warble with a low moaning sound
Down in the hollow where the waters run cold
It was there I first listened to the lies that you told
Now I lie on my bed and I see your sweet face
The past I remember time cannot erase
The letter you wrote me it was written in shame
And I know that your conscience still echo's my name
Now the nights are so long, Lord sorrow runs deep
And nothing is worse than a night without sleep
I'll walk out alone and look at the sky
Too empty to sing, too lonesome to cry
If the ladies were blackbirds and the ladies were thrushes
I'd lie there for hours in the chilly cold marshes
If the ladies were squirrel's with high bushy tails
I'd fill up my shotgun with rock salt and nails

It's definitely something I think more people should check into even if your not into cars, there's not much know how either it's the first car to a line lol. I have heard a lot of great things about the Animal Kingdom. I would love to do the Safari thing.
My daughter is 5 - will be 6 at the end of August and is into the Princess things. I made her an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique so she can get her hair and nails done.
My son is into cars so we will definitely catch the stunt show at MGM. I like to just wander around and look at the sights. Neither of my children like to ride the rides, so we will be watching shows and shopping and eating way too much I'm afraid.
I haven't been to the land of Mouse since I was in 10th grade. I think Epcot was only a year or two old, so I can't wait to see all the "new" stuff.

The room has been used as a guest room/storage room since we bought the house, and I never got around to painting in there. It was still the original nasty pale pink color. Hey now... you can if you want... I went to a bar last weekend for the first time since I quit , (not to drink mind you, to listen to a band) and I didn't think I would be able to w/o smoking, and I could... :)
Just looking out for you, love.

Circle is like church, only for Pagans instead of Christians :)
We meet every full moon, every dark moon, and every High Day.

Lol.. not really a concert per say, just a local group called "Kimmet and Doug" great vocals, great guitar... no drums or anything just hose two. SHe has a gritty style voice reminiscent of Janis Joplin... I love it... and he plays the guitar amazingly... he's the next Santana. They do a lot of covers, but have their own songs as well. My husband LOVES Kimmet... he will leave me for her one day, we joke... lol

Wow... now that I have dish pan hands from cleaning all day long... how does a house get so diry when you are not even home?
The moon last night was amazing. We could see it perfectly from our bedroom... it was one of those moons that if I was in school I would be worried that the kids would be crazy.

Ya know what is funny, Synnen? In the Methodist Church women's groups that meet outside of Sunday School are called Circle Meetings.

Hey Em-
I just read that you are going to Orlando. Have fun! A nice break from the craziness sounds like a great idea. Be sure that you are a Princess for a day while you are there... but don't forget the sunscreen :)

She was full last night, and she WAS beautiful.
We didn't get the orange effect, but I spent some time just sitting outside late last night to watch her.

There was something eeriely (is that a word) peaceful about last night too.
My hubby and I sat outside reading, while the real tuscany slept under our swing.
I wanted time to stand still... just one of those nights you know

I was too busy listening to Devil Without a Cause by Kid Rock last night to look up in the sky, my eyes were closed, I was dancing like a fool and singing like a hurt birdie! I won't even dare miss it tonight... Hugs to all.

I need a vacation... I've been partying way too much, and I'm feeling, from my ankle to my skin, I need a good week somewhere in the middle of nowhere to catch up on my healing. That honestly is one of the reasons I go back to South Dakota, living out here in California life can seem to speed by you, but out there on my dad's farm, time slows down and you can kind of take stock of what your doing and where you are going... which reminds me I haven't called him in a while. Anyway, seems I'm the only one online, Ill cya when I cya. Peace.
