Whirlpool E1 error code appears when dryer stops and clothes are not dry. I undersand this is a thermistor problem. Exactly where is it located?

Located ad back side if dryer. They are round or disc shape. May have 2-4 on unit . When you locate,disconnect a wire from each and check for continuity.If none,replace.
