Hi,
I have a 91 honda civic hatchback and I was on my way to work this morning and noticed a strange clicking noise on the fron left side sounds like its coming from the wheel I went to a shop and they said either axle or brakes and said 150 to 175 for each any opinions of what it might be or if I'm getting ripped for the price as well I also have a bad o2 sensor and I bought a new one and wanted to ask if anyone here can tell me where to lecate it and replace with the new and if its something I can do myself
Thanks in advance I'm very impressed with this site.

Sounds like your CV joints are bad on that half-axle. Look for a possible split boot and grease flung everywhere.

Here's how to replace the oxygen sensor:

I have the same clicking noise when I have the cranked right or left and turning I thought it could be wheel bearings but I also thought about grease

rob-k, it may be your CV joints.

Yeah it sounds like a cv axle, you can do it yourself but you need a book 4 your car
