My dog will still play, she drinks water, has not been vomiting nor has she had diarrhea that I know of (she stays in the backyard). I have tried giving her table food but she will not eat that either. Normally she has a very good appetite she will eat almost any type of meat (chicken, fish, beef). She is a 12 month old pit bull should I be worried.

Not eating for a few days won't hurt any dog. There are even people that routinely impose fasts on their dog, which I disagree with. However, what ever is causing her not to eat could be a problem. Please read the sticky starting at https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/dogs/information-articles-our-dogs-expert-labman-53153.html#post254171
Post back if you need more help after reading it.

Princess, most healthy pitbulls are major piggies when it comes to food. Since you are keeping her in the backyard and do not know absolutely whether she is vomiting, has diarrhea, or blood in her stool, you really must keep a very close eye on her today and determine if any of those things are happening. Is it hot where you live? Is she still drinking plenty of water? When they get overheated, they are like any other dog and usually their appetite falls off. It could also be that your dog has eaten something she shouldn't have. Is she eating a large amount of grass? That is a sign that your dog has eaten something that is causing her distress. It is very hard to tell as a pitbull gets older if it has an upset stomach from eating the wrong thing because there energy levels still remain high. If she continues to refuse food, a vet visit tomorrow is in order. Please let us know how she is doing.
