I'm leading toward the timer. Does it do it with all temperatures? If this unit has a humidity sensor , they get gummy and can be scrubbed with 409, or alcohol. Also with units with humidity control the thermostsats will have 3 leads on them. 2 for temp and 1 goes to the timer motor. If the stat is bad and opening up it will stop dryer from running. Then as it cools down it closes and sends power back to timer motor. Could be one of the sensor is not operating properly. These stats are not expensive and woukd be a good place to start. Good Luck
