My computer monitor, just over the last week, has developed faint grey lines that follow every line of text, image, or border.
I don't know what has caused this, or what is causing this, and we bought a new monitor because of these lines, yet nothing has changed.
Could you please tell me what is causing these lines and what I can do about it?

If a new monitor doesn't change the condition try replacing the video card.

If you have to throw it out, be sure to play with a magnet.

Try the monitor on another computer.
Try a new video cable.

Both are much cheaper than buying a new monitor... unless of course you're looking for an excuse to buy one!

If you have changed your video cord and still the same it is the card
