I am 24 and have been trying to fall Pregnant for 7 months now! I had my last period on the 28th of May! My cycle is 42 days and I am never late! I was suppose to start my period on the 9th of July! I took home tests and on the 4th day that I missed I went for a blood test, and it was negative! It is the 19th today and still no period! My boobs is sensitive and I do feel funny things happening to my body! I haven't picked up weight! The other thing is a week before my period I was sick with the flu! Could that be that I missed my period or am I pregnant? :confused:

It could go either way. It is possible you could be pregnant if you have been having sex. Take an HPT and see what it says. If it is negative, keep testing either until you see positive, or you have gone a long time without a period. If you go two or more months without a period, see a doctor.

Stress, diet and some medications can cause your period to be late. Also, your body is always changing, and your hormones are always fluctuating. It is not uncommon for a woman to be late, or miss a cycle completely.

I agree with NauticalStar. It is possible there aren't enough hormones to trigger the test yet, but it could also be nothing. Sometimes nature throws a curve ball our way. Either way, in a couple weeks, if nothing has changed, you should see a doctor. Good luck!
