There are women that still have something like a period while they are pregnant :)

It may happen, but this is usually an indication of placenta previa-this needs to be investigated by your obgyn.

This however, is a rarity. Theoretically it is impossible, because the endometrium is supposed to remain with the feotus, not be expelled.

Cheers.

No! Once you start you're period like all the way not just spotting then you are in the clear! If you have ever seen 15 and pregnant then you would see what I am talking about! I wish you the best of luck and you should ask a trusted adult, if you don't feel comfortable with your parents, about birth control.

Not true. There are women that have a "period" for some, or all of their pregnancy.

Have you thought about taking an over the counter pregnancy test? If you are spotting and are pregnant I'd see your OB/GYN. (You should be seeing one anyways) How far along are you? If you have any bleeding during pregnancy you should call your doctor.

Women can actual bleed when they are pregnant but technically it Isn't a period. A period is when your body sheds the endometrium (lining of the uterus) and blood to prepare for implantation again. When you're pregnant your body produces a horomone that tells the lining of the uterus not to shed because the baby implants itself in the endometrium. Women can bleed due to placental previa as previously stated, implantation bleeding, miscarriage and other reasons. If you feel like you are or KNOW that you are pregnant and are bleeding, then you should see a doctor just to be sure. Good luck!

Many women experiencing bleeding in early pregnancy, yes. So if you are pregnant and are experiencing this then you are probably still pregnant. You should contact your health care provider ASAP to rule out miscarriage though. Good luck.
