I need to replace the starter rope on a Poulan Pro SM400 leaft blower. I have it apart but since the old rope broke off, I don't know how to attach the new one to the wheel.

Take And Look At The Spring In The Rewind Housing, You Should See Which Direction The Spring Winds, Turn The Rope Housing To Tighten Spring, Line Up The Holes, Place Rope Through Holes, Tie Knot In The End Inside The Rope Housing, Have A Stop Knot At The Other End Of The New Rope And Let Go. When The Rope Is Rewound, Pull Out About A Foot And Place The Handle Onto The Rope And Secure With A Knot. All Done, Good Luck.
