Can somebody help me with this question. I am feeling really silly right now but for some reason, I can't figure it out.

3^x + 3^x + 3^x = ?


The ^ means raised to the x power.

two clues.
1: what is x+x+x?
2: what is (x^y)*(x^z)?

figure out how the first clue applies before using the second clue.

3^{x}+3^{x}+3^{x}=3\cdot{3^{x}}=3^{x+1}
