What do I need to do? Recently, I had kidney stones. I just passed the last one last night. I came one of the local practitioners in town because my doctor couldn't see me that day. I told both he and his nurse that I was in severe pain in my back and neck and the doctor had given me some pain medicine but it was not helping and I didn't know what to do. He told me he would give me a few more and I went to the pharmacy to get them filled only to find out he called and cancelled the prescription and said I hadn't told him I already had some, whichis a bold faced lie!!
So I go home and about 3 days later, I can't use the bathroom, still in severe pain, and I go to the ER. The doctor that is working that day is the doctor that that nurse practitioner works under. Even after he does the X-ray and finds the stones he proceeds to tell me that I might want to check and see if I have chlamydia and maybe that's the reason why I can't pee. And tell your husband to get checked out too.
Then I find out later, since I work at this hospital, that the nurse practitioner has been spreading my confidential medical information around to hospital employees. What do I do? I am tired of this . Something has got to quit. I need to get a hold on this.
