:( Every time I play sims 2 after a while or if I drive somewhere it beeps then goes to my desktop saying that "the application has crashed, the application will now terminate" I accidentally threw away the codes for reinstalling any of them even just the regular sims 2.
I don't really want to buy another set so I was wondering if someone could help me?

Go to the sims website and get the latest patches, delete any "custom content" from non-EA sites. If that doesn't work un-install the latest expansion pack.

It really sounds like you downloaded the game or the expansion pack and got a corrupt or incomplete copy.
