I am an 18 year old female. I have a steady job at the local hospital. My mother is having a mental breakdown but refuses to relinquish custody. The living conditions are not good. They have no power and no food. I am afraid to turn them into cps and not getting custody of them. I used to take care of them when I livied at home and I know what they need. She also gets Social security checks for them. I am deeply concerned about the welfare of my brothers. I want to take custody of them asap. I would like to know how to do this. Please somebody help. I'd think with your stability and knowing the specific care of your brothers will work for you in court. You likely will have to prove her unfit to care for them too. Check all of this with a lawyer.
